Is there a way to exceed the maximum nesting limit of 8?

Hi all,

During the creation of my flow I stumbled upon the error saying two of my actions are nested at level 9 while the maximum nesting limit is 8. I see no direct possibilty to shorten my flow, except of maybe one 'if statement', but I will need a total nesting level of 11.

Is there any way to increase the maximum nesting limit? For example by updating to plan 2 of Microsoft Flow? Or is there a workaround to prevent using too many if statements? I Do not want to split my current flow into four seperate flows as this method will quickly reach my upper limit of 2000 runs per month.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

AVH

Hi @AVH,

You migth want to have a look at how you develop your flows.Quite often there is an alternative to the flow approach. I wrote a post about how to develop Flows. This appraoch should reduce your nesting level as well:

Re: Is there a way to exceed the maximum nesting limit of 8?

Hi @AVH,

I don't think currently there is a way to extend the nesting limits in Microsoft Flow.

To work in your scenario, the suitable solution might be to re-design the running steps.

You may consider rise this as an idea under Flow feedback:
