We do clever things with Content Types, to cotrol the fields seen at various steps of a process.
Is there a Flow action to update the Content Type (as we do to metadata)?
If not can we have we please?

Hi @simonjhudson,
Could you please share a bit more about the Content Type of a SharePoint item that you mentioned?
Do you want to change the Content Type property of an item within your SharePoint library?
I suppose that you want to change the Content Type property of an item within your SharePoint library, is it true? If you want to change the Content Type property of an item within your SharePoint library, please make sure that you have enabled "Allow management of content types" option within Advanced Settings of your SharePoint library settings (I think you have enabled this option😞
More details about enabling Content Types option ("Allow management of content types") and how to add Content Types to your SharePoint library, please check the following article:
After you enable Content Types option, you could consider take a try to update the Content Type property using "Update file properties" action of SharePoint connector. My flow's configuration as below:
More details about the "Update file properties" action, please check the following article:
Best regards,
Kris

Thanks for this. I eventually figured this out myself, but it's great to see this as a capability.
We use Content Types a lot, so already have them turned on in most libraries.
It wasn't obvious that the Update action coudl do this when I looked and it was even less obvious that the label Content Type ID actually just means Content Type (there is a lot of poor choice of label for actions and fields in Flow at present). But it works a charm once used.
I really appreciate the reply.
