Linked Document Flow

Hi,

I am working with our Quality Team. They manage around 160 documents; they are not the document owners. The documents are distributed over various libraries, folders, and business units.

I can create a new document library in the Quality Teams site collection and then using the linked document content type, I can pull in all the 160 different documents into one library.

What I want to do then is create a flow, which can notify the team when a document has been modified. The problem I am facing is that whilst on the content of the linked document changes when the source file is updated as its a URL, the modifed time in the new library does not change.

Is there a way of trigger an activity when the content of a linked file changes?

Thanks in advance

Ben

Hi @Ben90 ,

Sorry for I'm afraid that there is no any way to achieve the requirement, there is no any function in Microsoft flow could check the update in a linked document.

Best Regards,

Alice

Many thanks for the quick response Alice (@v-alzhan-msft). Can you think of another way I could achieve what the team want?
