MS Graph API Error: Group email address is not supported

I have an existing flow setup that invites external users to become a guest users in a clients AD (https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/invitations).

It works successfully for the majority of the users but I have come across a couple instances where it failed to create an invitation with the error "Group email address is not supported". While I know its not supported to use this, I am seeking to find out possible reasons this might occur.

The user does not exist in AD at all, and the email address looks good. (Fname.Lname@domain.com)

Has anyone run into something similar that could help shed some light here?

Hello @TenereJarzNZ ,

Can you show us how the Flow action looks like(preferably a screenshot). Also, can you verify for the failed ones that the 'To' field populated isn't a Distribution list or a Group email address?
