Managing Push Recipients

Hello All

I am a flow newbie, trying to set up a simple push notification on a mobile when a new D365 record is completed.

I have managed to create this for sending to myself, but I can' seem to work out how to send this notification to multiple people.

Can someone please give a simple nudge in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

Re: Managing Push Recipients

Hi @Mr_Mather,

If you are using Send me a mobile notification, it is not compatible with your needs.

Because this action can only push notifications to yourself, it can't push notifications to others or even multiple people.

If you want to push notifications, you could use Send an email notification or Send an email action directly.

Re: Managing Push Recipients

Thanks for the reply

It is using Dynamics 365 CRM, we are wanting a push notification to all users in a Business Unit when a relative account is created.  I know I could create a workflow but the higher ups want to explore push notifications.

Thanks in advance

Hi Lee @Mr_Mather

The below looks to be working for me and 2 other users when they have they have the PowerApps app installed on the mobile phone. No need for use of mobile number but UPN instead.Capture-040.png

And the steps ...

Please be aware the connection to your app will require to be accurate, please see below:

I followed this to do so.

I set up and empty app in powerapps called "First App" and used my Guid (The PowerApps ID from details tab) as below from this linkCapture-045.png

Creating a connection

To connect your account, you will need the following information:

Target application (The URL or ID shown under app details tab)

What I suggest you do, is to add a new connection to an app that exists and try again. I have did just that and broke it, then fixed it and it works again.

when I did this to an existing app (empty app) with the correct name & GUID it is working.

If you found as helpful please mark as thumbs up.

If this is the solution, please mark as the solution.

Thanks, Alan
