Hi! I have a flow that when clicked to run, it would get the rows from an Excel file stored in a SharePoint site and upload them into a SharePoint list. This flow works well but my question is: is there a way for the person to 'run' the flow that doesn't need for him/her to go to Power Automate anymore?
I don't want to use the "when a file is created or modified" type of trigger since it's possible that even if the person has entered in his raw data inside the Excel file, he/she would edit it a few minutes after. Basically, I want the person to let him control on when he/she will trigger the flow.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Since the file is stored in a SharePoint library, you can use a SharePoint For a selected file trigger. Be sure to grant run-only permissions to those who will be using the Flow. Let me know if you need more info.

Hi @ScottShearer! Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I didn't understand what you meant by your reply.
Here is a link to a video that explains the concept.
The video covers "for a selected item" but "for a selected file" works in the same way.
Thanks @ScottShearer ! I got it now. I didn't know there's a trigger like this. Thanks so much!
