Maximum IF statements

Hello.

I built a tracker log that has 2 dropdowns.  One dropdown has 10 values and the second dropdown (which cascades based on the first) has at least 4 options to choose from.  Based on the values that are selected for the 2 dropdowns, I need to have a unique notification/email sent out.  So I may have to have at least 40 separate conditional IF statements.

If there a max of how many you can have in a flow?  I know that for one "group/cluster" of IFs the limit is 8.  How many "groups/clusters" of IFs can a Flow handle?

Thank you!

@Misa :

I don't believe that there is a maximum number of conditions in a Flow.  However, there is a limit of 250 actions per Flow.  If you bump into this limit, your can break you Flow up into parent/child Flows.

Here is a link to a page that details Flow limits.

Re: Maximum IF statements

I actually ran into reaching a max if statements (kind of). I got to #6 and it wouldn't populate the 6th one. Then I saw there was a switch option. This actually worked better for my use case, I was able to create 6 switches plus default, and the UI is a lot easier to deal with using the switch.

Re: Maximum IF statements

I tried using switch but it wasn't as flexible as an IF statement because the majority had 2 levels of verifications.  I will try using Switch again in the future. Smiley Happy
