Microsoft Flow and Forms - invalid connection

I am having a problem when I try to connect to Microsoft Forms to trigger my flow. I get an error "Please check your account info and/or credentials and try again". When I click on the three dots and look at the connection, it says "invalid connection" with a red exclamation mark. I have tried reconnecting but get the same error. Both Forms and Flow are using the same account.

My O365 account is an Office 365 Personal account and I think Forms shows as "Forms Preview" - Does this mean I cannot connect to Forms from Flow with this account? Or is there another problem?

TIA

Hi @GerryC ,

Please open Forms you are using in the browser to check account. If the name displayed in the upper left corner is Forms or Forms Pro, the login account can be used in Flow to create a connection.

If Forms Preview is displayed, this account cannot be used to create a connection. The previously available connection list contains Microsoft Forms Preview, but this connector is no longer supported.

Please check if the account meets the requirements for creating a connection.

Hi @GerryC I would probably completely delete the connection and recreate it begin with (unless that’s what you mean by reconnecting). When creating the connection did you have the option to select your personal or organisation account?

Hi

Yes, mine shows "Preview", so it looks like I won't be able to try this functionality 😞

Thanks for the help

Thanks Matt

Yes, I deleted and recreated the connection but with no luck. Even stranger, when I try to create a connection directly in Connections it gives an error right away, but when I connect during set up of the Flow, it looks like the connection is working but then stops and I get the invalid credentials! It looks like my account (which is just a personal account to help me learn all the Office tools) does not allow connections - It only has "Forms Preview".

Enjoyed your talk on the Virtual Summit yesterday, btw - a great intro to Flow and I picked up some great tips.

All the best

Gerry
