Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive

Good morning everyone,

I have a issue with a Microsoft Flow stream that does not extract ZIP archives. I use the same template with other accounts that work but with some accounts, the files are not extracted.

Yet I do not get any error in the logs.

Do you know where it can come from?

I use the template: "Automatically unarchive files when added to an Onedrive for Business folder"

Thank you

Re: Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive

I found the issue.

My "Test2.zip" contains two files (.txt & .docx) but both have 0ko (I only created them with no data contain in). So the extraction doesn't work for files at 0ko.

I tested with another ZIP with somes pictures and it works..

Re: Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive

Hi @Beko1 ,

Have you checked in the specified Destination Folder Path to see if the expected file has been extracted?

I did a test on my side, the Extract folder action was successfully executed, and the expected file was extracted to the specified folder.

Could you provide details of the Flow configuration?

In addition, you mentioned that some accounts can successfully perform these operations. Is there any difference in permissions between these accounts.

Please provide more details so that we can analyze this issue.

Re: Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive

Hi @v-bacao-msft ,

Yes I checked it but no file are created.

There is no specific configuration in the flow, i just use the template "Automatically unarchive files when added to an Onedrive for Business folder" and change the path folder.

Yes I don't know why but with some accounts, it work perfectly and with other, don't. I don't understand, all accounts have the same Office 365 E3 licence.

I recreated the flow and only change the source et destination folder path to "Root" (default folder of onedrive business) and it didn't work too. I have no error in the execution.

I think the user have the correct permissions.

Re: Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive

in my case the expression 'Microsoft Flow doesn't extract ZIP archive' is true!

There are all the arguments provided to the Action 'Extract Folder' but it does not work.
