Microsoft Flow to add Calendar entry to SharePoint 365

This may not be possible but I wanted to ask.

As we lost the ability to email calendar entries to SharePoint when it was moved to Office 365 is it possible to use Flow to handle this? I would assume we could set up a group inbox that flow can monitor for and attachment and then add it to the SharePoint calendar but when I attempt to use this it does not show up in the lists available. This is also my first time really using flow.

@geoffculbertson:

You are correct - it is not possible to send an email to a SharePoint calendar in Office 365 as you could in on-premises versions of SharePoint.

Flow does not currently include an action that allows you to monitor a shared calendar for new entries and updates to calendar events.

You might consider using an Exchange Shared Calendar rather than a SharePoint calendar.  Shared calendars have email addresses and can be included as a meeting invitee.

Hi @geoffculbertson,

Could you please share full screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Could you tell me how to move email calendar entries to Office 365 and what “does not show up in the lists available” ?

I am sorry that according to your description, I couldn't fully understand what you mean.

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best Regards,

Barry

Yes we went with any Exchange Group to handle this and it works fine.
