Microsoft Forms Dynamic Content Fields Not Appearing

I need some help in getting a basic flow from Microsoft Forms.

When a new response is submitted, I'd like to add a row to an Excel Online table.

For some reason it doesn't show the start time and name field (outlined in red below) in the dynamic content list. Is it not possible to fetch these items? Is there a special expression that has to be used?

These are 2 of the 4 default fields in Forms data (Start Time, Completion Time, Email, Name). I'm surprised I'm having trouble with this. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @RodM ,

Follow the suggestions by ScottShearer , because the type of the Dynamic content may not match the type of the fields in Excel table, so you could get these Dynamic content in the list.

You could use the Compose to get these Dynamic content first, then fill the output of the Compose in the field of the Excel table.

Hope that makes sense.

@RodM

Try adding two Compose actions before your insert row action.  Set one of the compose action to the Start time and the other to Name.  Reference the compose actions in the Insert row action.

I really appreciate the attempt to help, but I guess I should have explained that I'm a new user to flows and have no understanding of any programming languages. I wouldn't know what expression to enter. The start time is not as critical as the Name field. If I can get that working I have the minimum needed info.

Furthermore what I can't understand is why it's not coming up in the dynamic content list. An Advanced User who is willing to create a test form and flow themselves would be helpful here.

hi @RodM  please see this example to add and expresion to get the current date when the flow runs.
