Hi,
I have a flow getting the response details of a MS Forms and write in a sharepoint.
The problem is with the box "When a new response is submitted" because the field "responseId" is generating duplicates as you can see on the images.
Anyone had the some problem? Is this a bug that needs to be fixed?
The flow that I use is this one:
Thanks,
Diogo Justo
Silly question, but just to check - are these completely new entries to the Forms or are you testing the flow over and over again with the same input?
Hi @DiogoJusto
Can you please upload the Power Automation? The image is missing. Probably this can provide some insight on what could be happening.
Do you have a lot of people filling in the form at the same time? The event time is the same down to the millisecond, so that's why I'm asking. The probability of that happening is low, but since the dates are the same, The system that generates IDs probably doesn't handle these race conditions correctly.
Makes sense?

These are completly new entries, before putting the Flow in Production I made several tests and this never happened.
Hi @manuelstgomes ,
I edited the post and uploaded the image.
Usually 2/3 persons a day, once the process is quite "simple" because we only need to use the blocks "When a new response is submitted" and "Get reponse details" I don't understand what I have to do in order to solve this issue.
Thanks,
Diogo Justo
Hi @DiogoJusto
I was checking your Power Automation and I think I found the issue.
You don't need to put your Power Automation in a "Apply to each". This Power Automation will trigger for each reply posted since it's a "Trigger when A new response is submitted", so if there are 2/3 per day it will trigger 2/3 times per day.
Try putting all outside the loop and see if the issue disappears.
Please let me know if this solves the issue. If not we'll dig further to figure this out.

Hi @manuelstgomes ,
When I put the "List if response notifications Response ID" on the field Response ID, automatically generates a "Apply to each".
The problem need to be before, because on the screenshots that I've sent before you can see in the block "When a new reponse is submitted the field "responseID" already has duplicates.
Hi @DiogoJusto
Yeah, indeed, you're right. I'm still wondering why it puts the for each, but let's put that aside.
Honestly, this is so strange that it can only be a bug. If the actual trigger gets duplicate values, then it's something wrong in the Form generation itself.
Probably you need to submit this back to Microsoft to check and fix it.
I hope this helps you.

Hi @DiogoJusto,
Do you still has the issue with the Microsoft Form trigger?
Does this happen often or occasionally? What's the frequency? I'm sorry, I was not reproduce it. If possible, you can recreate a new connection and try again.

Hey @DiogoJusto @manuelstgomes
I don' think this should be in an 'Apply to each' loop... the loop shouldn't be automatically created?... it isn't for me:

I'm having this same problem! In the past when I've had a form as a part of a flow, I did not get an automatic "Apply to Each" and it has worked perfectly. Now, whenever I try to use "Get Response Details," it automatically creates an "Apply to Each" and answers each open flow with whoever responds first.
It seems to be not possible to remove the 'Apply to each' when adding the 'Get response details' block. Any progress on this?
