I've set up a very basic flow that sends a Flow notification when specific people E-mail me.
But I can't seem to find ms-outlook URI scheme for opening specific e-mails.
It's easy to just plainly launch Outlook app on mobile, by adding "ms-outlook://" in the Link box. But I'm trying to find a way to open the specific Message using MessageID, but nothing seems to work at all.
Has anyone tried this ?
I know it's possible to compose e-mails using ms-outlook://compose?to=xxxxxxx
Can you do the same with Outlook app to directly open the message?
Do you want to rely on MessageId to open the specific email on your mobile?
I afraid that there is no any way to achieve your requirement by using existing connector in Microsoft Flow currently.
If you want to function that opening the specific Message using MessageID to be supported in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
Hi - did you have any luck solving this?
I am trying to create a Link to Outlook that opens the email that triggered my notification when a specific colleague emails me.
So - email received from colleague, pop up notice on phone from Flow, and Link to Outlook to the specific message that gave rise to the flow being triggered.
Thx a lot - your "ms-outlook..." string is a nice solution that I would not otherwise have found, so that's a pretty good alternative if nothing else has hit your radar screen since.
