I'm trying to have a manually triggered Flow that will move a selected item from one list to another within the same Library.
ie; I have a form being submitted that gets added to a Sharepoint list with all the information spots as columns. Once that gets actioned by office administrators I want to be able to select the item and hit a Flow that will move that item to another list entitled "Actioned".
To avoid clutter in the "form submission" Sharepoint list once there gets to be a thousand responses eh?
I thought this would be fairly simple but for some reason cannot get it working.
Thanks for your assistance.
You need to use Get items to retrieve the current items and Create item to create the item. Once that is created you could use Delete item action to delete the list item.
Please have a look at this thread.
I'm trying to do this via "For selected item" trigger so they can select what item they want to move from list to list.
So should I trigger "For Selected Item" then pick "Get Item Details", then Create Item in new list and delete item from old list?
Or is there a better way to do this?
Thanks for your reply. It all depends on how you want to design it according to your requirement.
You can have single select and move like you are doing now.
If you want to move via manual or scheduled trigger you can move all in one go as well.
I'm having a terrible brian fart moment.
I can't figure out the steps for the flow for some reason.
I want to select an item, or multiple items, and then be able to click a button in the top bar of the Sharepoint List and move them to a different sharepoint list in the same site.
Can you assist in the best way to do this?
Sorry to be a pain.
Yeah I could use help getting the Flow started. Getting to pick selected items then to be able to get the item details to move is proving tricky,
