Move email to Sent Items of another mailbox based on From: address

Hi Flow Community,

I have a flow I'd like to setup but am not sure if it's actually possible.

We are using a cloud based CRM which will use SMTP to send outbound emails on behalf of our Office365 hosted domain. We will send these out via Office365 authenticated SMTP relay using a dedicated Exchange Online mailbox (eg: crm@outdomain.com). These outbound emails will be sent from different FROM: addresses that will match either a user or shared mailbox's Primary SMTP address.

If possible, I'd like to create a flow that will

  1. Trigger when an email arrives in the "crm@ourdomain.com.au/Sent Items" folder (ie: outbound emails relayed via Authenticated SMTP)
  2. Based on the SMTP FROM: address, move the message to the corresponding mailbox's "Sent Items" folder (ie: SMTP FROM:support@ourdomain.com, move email to the Sent Items folder of the support@ourdomain.com Shared Mailbox)
    • if this cannot be done dynamically based on the FROM: address, we are happy to setup a seperate flow for each outbound address that we need this functionality for.

Any assistance would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi @ausip ,

The function to trigger a flow when an email arrives in a folder in an email address and check the email send from address is supported in microsoft flow currently.

However, we couldn't move email from folder in crm@ourdomain.com to folder in support@ourdomain.com.

We could only move email between folders in the same email address.

Best regards,

Alice
