Move items from one list to another when date is equal to today

When a staff is leaving I would like to be able to add their "enddate" and once the MM/DD/YYYY is equal to today I would like it to trigger a flow that takes all data from that list item(employee) and move them to a new list (i.e. move them from Employee Directory to Past Employees). There are a total of 15 columns for each employee. I'm not sure where to start.

Hi @Joannao

Has your problem been solved?

Thanks for the solution provided by @Hardesh15.

You can take a try with the screenshots below to create the flow.

Assume the Employee Directory list like this, the Past employees list has the same column.

Flow in details:

Note: You can find column internal name via List settings -> Click on the column name -> It’s at the end of the URL on the Edit column page, after ‘Field=’.

This is the complete Flow screenshot.

Save and test the Flow.

After flow runs, DDD's information will be deleted from Employee Directory, and be created in Past Employees list.

@Joannao You can build scheduled flow which runs daily and then compare your employee end date to utcnow('yyyy-MM-dd') in condition and then create item in the past list and delete that employee from Employee directory list.

In case you need further help, let me know.

Please 'Thumbs Up' the posts that helped you and 'Mark as Solution' if my post answered your question.

Can you provide a snapshot of what that would look like - I am a visual person 🙂
