Moving a List item into a folder within a list

Hi,

I have a Case list, (and a child Sessions list), current we have open and closed cases in the list.

It would be good to move the automate the "Case closed" process.

When the Case is marked as closed it needs to be moved from the to the Completed folder.

Is there a way to do this in a list? I am struggling to find an action that can help be achieve this.

Cases List (with folders enabled)

- _Closed (folder)

- person 1 (folder)

- person 2 (folder)

(If not the items could be moved to a different list, be that causes other challenges!)

Bonus point: Best way to get all the related items from the Sessions list and move then into a folder too...

Many thanks for reading this far!

Regards

Ruth

Best option is to just control the Views with Metadata instead of moving under folders.

Please refer following blog where you can see how this can be achieved using REST APIs. There isnt any PA action available for this...

Thanks for your speedy response @PrasadAthalye

This solution uses folders for security reasons, so I am reluctant to use just metadata and views in this instance.

I will definitely look at the REST API solution you have posted though, that is most appreciated.

Many Thanks
