Ms Forms Fields and TimeDate Formatting

I have tried searching but perhaps am not seeing the obvious, apologies if this is the case.

I have built a leave form for our staff in MS Forms.  On this form is a field first day off work.  In the form when the user selects a date it shows with our appropriate local setting being dd/mm/yyyy.

However in Flows every time I add it, it shows as yyyy-mm-dd in the details email generated for approval, which is very confusing for the office staff who are processing the form.

I thought this would be as simple as FormatDateTime(MS Form Field, 'dd/mm/yyyy') however this doesn't seem to work when I drag the form field into the expression:

formatDateTime(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r38416d29171b42229812393a7ffc6527'],'dd/mm/yyyy')

formatDateTime(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/rd0e694ea7185464783419ad2f810b47d'],'dd/mm/yyyy')

Which is resulting in 16/00/2020 to 04/00/2020 for 16/04/2020 to 04/05/2020?

Bit frustrating...But clearly I am missing something?

Re: Ms Forms Fields and TimeDate Formatting

Hi @dynamictiger

Format should be dd/MM/yyyy. In your case you are using all small case letters.

Thanks
