Multi-level Approval Flow that doesn't terminate on rejection?

Hello Flow community!

 

I'm working on a workflow project for a client, and I was hoping to build it in Flow instead of in SPD. I've been working on a prototype, but I'm having issues providing the functionality my client needs. 

 

These are the requirements I have:

 

  • multiple levels of required approval
  • when approver rejects the file/item, Flow sends it back to the author for revision
  • After editing based on rejecting approver's feedback, author can resume flow and resubmit back to the same approver who rejected, instead of having to start back at the beginning of the workflow process and bother earlier approvers again.

Does anyone have advice on how to achieve this?

You could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Please make sure the author would reply the email with option, when the author have reply the email with option, the flow would resubmit back to the same approver who rejected for approval again.
