New Flow users attempting to build a flow for forms

Hello!

We are attempting to build flows for a form we have created.

Form has a number of 'tick box' options which represent different departments.

Based on which department/box is selected, we want a notifcation sent to that particular department.

We are struggling with how to do this- can someone please provide some guidance on how to do this and do we need to create multiple flows to cover each department/tick box?

Thanks! 😃

Re: New Flow users attempting to build a flow for forms

Hi @Razza83,

Are you talking about Microsoft Forms trigger?

If yes, then could you please share more details about how you configured the 'tick box' in Forms, is it a Choice type? Also, which data is used to represent the Department, is it the correspondig Email, or just the group Email?

If here you would like to send notifications to the proper department, then within Microsoft Flow, there should be the Department Email provided. In order words, the Email Address should be get involved in the flow configuration.

If only Department Name is used in Forms, then please provide an Excel table, which should contain the Department name and the related Email, after that, we could take use of the Form response to filter the table and get the corresponding Email, then use it in the Notifications.

Please first take a look at the following blog regarding how to work with Microsoft Forms:

Building flows from scratch that handle Microsoft Forms responses

And post back if you need further assistance.

Regards,

Michael
