Non-DLP solutions to connector permissions

Hi all,

I am debating building a solution but it got me thinking about connector permissions and how i can limit users from using certain connectors. Is it possible to prevent someone from using the CDS connector for example without changing their permissions OR the DLP?

I'll give an example:

I have a Dynamics user that needs permissions in CDS to do their work BUT this user is irresponsible with Flow and creating a mess. Can i simply say "John Smith" is not allowed to use CDS connecters?

Thanks in advance to those that take the time to read.

Re: Non-DLP solutions to connector permissions

Hi @tcorcor11 ,

Microsoft Flow DLP is used to protect organizational data from being shared with a list of connectors that you define.

So it only can limit the use of connector in the current environment or entire tenant, not for a single user.

Only in the following two situations that user cannot use actions included in specified connector:

  • User has no account or subscription for corresponding service.
  • User has account but without sufficient permission to corresponding service.

I am afraid that we cannot limit the use of connector for specified user in MS Flow.

If you want this feature supported by MS Flow, please consider submitting your suggestion in Idea Forum:
