Can anyone please suggest a method to allow persons to be subscribed to a task in Planner so they can be notified of updates to the task?
I have a flow that creates Planner Bucket Tasks from a submitted form. While the form can ask for any piece of information, Planner tasks don't seem to have a place to store a list of people who may need to get notified about activity on the task. It appears Planner only has a record of the task creator and the assignee of bucket tasks. Looking for a way for team members to get notified about updates to a given task.
Thanks for any suggestion.
hi @Nicer_Atl the only way is assigning a person into a task.

Thanks for the reply. Still hoping for a creative workaround.
While I can't find any documentation on it, is it possible to maybe use Planner's "Checklist" property to store an eMail address and be able to retrieve it later in a flow? ...assuming there is a way to interact with the Checklist property.
Hi @Nicer_Atl
Every Plan in Planner had a group and you can query all the members of that group using "List group members" (Office 365 Groups), and you can send email to all the members.
So in your Planner FLOW query all the members for the given Plan and send them an update email.

Thanks for the reply @DeepakS .
Unfortunately your suggestion to notify the Planner board members won't solve my issue. The person to notify is not on the board members list, it is a person who initiated a request via Form. The Form submission creates a Planner Task via a Flow. So my issue is there is no place in Planner to store this requester's contact information, so they can be notified of task updates to their request.
@Nicer_Atl as I told you my friend, what you need is not supporter yet.
