O Data error in Flow

Hi,

I'm creating a Flow that sends reminder emails out when a date, "Contract Expiry", in a SharePoint list is approaching. My Flow runs on a daily occurrence that uses the below logic

Capture.JPG

The Compose expression is:

addDays(utcNow(),30,'MM/dd/yyyy')

The filter query is:

ContractExpiry eq ‘@{outputs('Compose')}’

Then it gets the items in a the SharePoint list and I get error:

The expression "ContractExpiry eq ‘03/28/2020’" is not valid.
clientRequestId: 27953680-8d1b-46fb-bbd0-672484d7afb5
serviceRequestId: 27953680-8d1b-46fb-bbd0-672484d7afb5

The column in SharePoint is called ContractExpiry and doesnt have any spaces etc.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Hi @Jamiehopper1

Also please make sure you are using the right single quotes (') between the output mapping. From the screenshot you shown it showing me as a different character. Please check it again or remove both single quotes and add it again.

Thanks

Hi @Jamiehopper1

What's your ContractExpiry column schema type?

Thanks

Is the schema type what type of column it is? If so, it is a date/time column and although the field is titled "Contract Expiry", its field ID is ContractExpiry (without the space).

Hi @Jamiehopper1

Thanks for your quick reply. Check the single quotes which I posted earlier and let me know.

Looks like you were right, the singular quotation marks were not in the correct format. They were curved instead of straight. Issue seems to be solved now. Thanks very much for your help.

Hi @Jamiehopper1

Believe you might have copy and pasted the filter. I have seen this before so just wanted to make sure. Glad that it is working for you. Could you please accept the solution as answered as it will help others in the community?

Thanks
