Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

Looking for a way that an Office 365 Group (teams) created a Form that then can be entered as a Flow trigger when a new response is added.

The form asks for a Form ID, but it only lets me choose my forms, not the Office 365 group. What is the custom value I can add to get Mcrosoft Flow to see the ID?

Thanks,

Re: Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you use the "When a new response is submitted" trigger of Microsoft Forms connector within your flow?

Do you want to get the Office 365 group id within the "When a new response is submitted" trigger?

Further, could you please show a bit more about the ID of your question?

The Form Id field of the "When a new response is submitted" trigger is required to choose a Microsoft Form, if you want to get Office 365 group id within the trigger, I afraid that there is no way to add a custom value to see the Office 365 group id within the "When a new response is submitted" trigger currently.

In addition, if you want to get form id, you could submit an response. You could get form id from the output of the trigger:17.JPG

Actually, the trigger uses above formid which likes a GUID code to find the Microsoft Forms, the UI just translate it into a friendly name.

Best regards,

Kris

Re: Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

Hi Kris,

So i am running into the same issue. We are trying to take the form that is created in our Group and create a flow for whenver the Group created Form gets updated to send a notification.

When creating the flow, the only Forms that display are my personal Forms. I am unable to locate the form ID of the Group Form. If this is possible, how do i find the Group Form id and how do i populate it within my Flow?

From the explaination, I am unsure of how to proceed.

Please advise,

AJ

Re: Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

I dont think this is answered.

I have the same problem. I have an office 365 group for a process and i want to be able to create a flow off that so it doesnt rely on my details but i can't find the form ID when I select the When a new response is submitted trigger.

Someone else created the form in the group and now i cant see it in Microsoft Forms even though i have edit access

Re: Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

I have found the answer.

Using the 'Send and Collect Responses' link, everything after the = is your form id.

https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=(your form id)

I got that far, but it doesn't pull the dymamic content to plug into the email.  Does anyone have a suggestion for that?

Same issue here - no dynamic content is being pulled for a Group form where an ID has manually been entered.

Also seemingly unable to retrieve dynamic content from Groups form - did you find a way?

Re: Office 365 Group: Microsoft Forms Flow

Hi,

Also interested !

If i use a personal form, i cannot add it as tab in my Teams channel in collaboration mode, so I moved the form to my group.

I can now add it to my Teams, but my flow is broken...

And I cannot move it back to the "personal area". I guess I have to start my flow all over again...

Seems difficult to have O365 apps to work together...

Bye,
Christophe
