Office 365 Outlook delivery options

It would be really helpful to have Office 365 Outlook delivery options, specifically "Expires after", available for configuration in the Office 365 Outlook connector.

I have a flow set up to send out "update" mails under certain conditions and would prefer each new mail to "replace" any previous mail in a recipient's mailbox.

Hi @Cobus_Taljaard,

Could you show me more details on your scenario? What do you mean by “Expires after”?

It seems that you want to update emails in a recipient’s mailbox, I am afraid that it might be not possible. Currently there is no action can be used to update emails, if you really need this feature, please consider submitting a request on Flow Ideas Forum:

Sure - thanks for responding Mabel.

I have an auction flow where registered users can place bids.  Whenever there's a new highest bid, all bidders receive a mail stating their last bid as well as the current highest bid.  As you can imagine, this ends up in all bidders receiving a couple of mails for the same auction.

In the desktop version of Outlook, you can specifiy a message to expire after a certain time, where after the message remains visible in the message list with a strikethrough (see "Set a message expiration date" in Outlook help).  This would make it much easier for bidders to find and look at only the most recent update mail.

It would be really helpful if the Flow Office 365 Outlook connector had options for defining an expiry date and time for mails sent.

kind regards
