On-premise gateway Usage

Dear community

I have a question regarding the license coverage of the on-premise gateway in Power Platform. Creating such a gateway requires a premium license, but what about using this gateway with non-premium connectors, such as the file server? This connector is not a premium connector, but an on-premise gateway connection is required to access on-prem data. So if I create such a gateway with a licensed user and share it with normally licensed users (without a premium license) and they use this gateway only with non-premium connectors... is this all okay or am I committing a license violation here?

Thank you for your support.

Kr,

Marcel

hi @masi2602  the answer is yes. It's ok. Because you pay for an account licence to create the action, so if all of your company uses your flow its ok.

Hi @ChristianAbata

Thank you very much for your answer. What I feel is a bit strange is that using premium connectors in a flow is not as you have described it. I mean when a user with a premium license creates the flow and all connections and shares the flow with users without a premium license. They can use the flow without any problems, but according to Microsoft this is multiplexing and is a violation of the license.
