OneDrive for Business List Files Action question

In the OneDrive for business list files action, there is no setting for oData filters to filter the number of files that would be listed by using date modified, etc. In one of my flows, one of the OneDrive folders can have at least 2,000 files.  The list files action, which simply lists out the filenames, is somewhat slow. For 200 files, it takes 40 to 50 seconds, so 2,000 files will take 7 to 9 minutes. Any ideas of how to speed this up, or would other actions provide the filenames faster (like get file metadata)/

Upon further research it doesn't look like the query in that action will let you query based on metadata.  So I don't think it will work for you.  I have used the SharePoint Get files (Properties Only) action with OneDrive for Business in the past, but its a very manual process.  That may be your only other alternative.

Find Files in a Folder lets you do a search query to limit the files returned.  That might be faster for you.

Thanks. I could not find documentation on how to input the Search Query. Can you point me to documentation or syntax? I was thinking of limiting the files to a date greater than something like 2 months ago, or xx days ago, to get more recent files and filter out older ones.

Two more questions on this action: 1. it appears that Find Files in a Folder will return a maximum of 100 files, whereas I am dealing with at least 2,000 files, and even after filtering, may still have several hundred. 2. Does it allow querying of metadata, such as file creation or modified date, or only queries related to the filenames themselves?

I think the SharePoint action may work. Having trouble getting the right URLs, library and folder. 

Using this for the SharePoint Site:  https://parsons365-my.sharepoint.com/personal/my_name_mycompany_com/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx

Then this for the Library: Documents.

Then the folder lets me browse and select a valid folder.

But when I run the flow, I get no file data from the folder, even though there are 400 files in there. If I back up a level and don't include a folder, I get all the files at the Documents level of OneDrive, which includes many sub-folders.

Unfortunately I've never tried using that action while specifying a folder.  It does work if you go from the root, but evidently doesn't when you specify a folder.

Actually, I got it working. For the SharePoint site URL, I needed to stop the URL at my_company_com. Then Documents for the library, then browse for the folder.  This process worked great. Previously, using the OneDrive list files action, it would have taken 5 or 10 minutes to loop through several hundred files.  This action only took 2 or 3 seconds, and in addition, I could check for the duplicate filenames within the action using an oData query. Thanks very much for the insight!

I've used it before when working with the root folder in OneDrive.  And you are right the URL is just up through your company name.  But when I tried it yesterday browsing to folders it wouldn't work for me.  Glad you got it to work for you.

Here are my settings, in case this helps. I had a similar issue with browsing, finding the folder, but it still would not run. I think it started working when I set the nested options to No.
