OneDrive for business Sharelink to a FOLDER

HI.

My flow requires that I make a Folder in a o365 Group.

I've found I'm unable to just create a Folder, I must create a File in a new folder.  No problem, I make a deleteme.txt

Here is the example...

FlowOneDrive1.png

My next requirement is to produce a link to the /JobNumberJobName folder, that opens- on a mobile device- in the OneDrive app.

I've found that if I set my OneDrive app to open *.sharepoint.com links in one drive and create a "share link" to the deleteme.txt, all works as planned.  I open the deleteme.txt in the OneDrive App.

What I can't figure out, is how to only open the /JobNumberJobName folder.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: OneDrive for business Sharelink to a FOLDER

Hi @BigBeuferd ,

Do you want to create a folder in SharePoint library without creating a file in it?

Do you want to generate a link to the specific folder?

About #1, there is no action Create folder could be used to create a folder directly, while using action Create file to create a folder, we have to create a dumb list. The workaround you’ve provided is great.

About #2, to generate a link to the folder JobNumberJobName, please try if the following way will work for you.

In my scenario, I am going to create a folder Title Ticket No. To get a link to this folder, use the action Get folder metadata using path, input the Folder path of the created folder.

Then add action Create sharing link for a file or folder. Select Item Id from action get folder metadata using path.
