Onedrive Business to Sharepoint : Copy File from subfolders when created

Hello everyone,

My company and I are looking to create a flow on a event not supported (yet ?).

We have a provider uploading files (pictures) on our OneDrive Business. Everytime they add pictures they create a subfolder in the picture folder for the month, and in that subfolder they are splitting pictures in some more subfolders depending on the vendor. We wish to retrieve the files in those subfolders, but not the folders themselves.

/Pictures/Month/Vendor/

According to what I obtained during my test. A flow with an event "When a file is created" only works if the file is created in the current folder, but not in the subfolders.

As far as i know there are no events for OneDrive Bussiness based on "When a folder is created", which makes it harder, since subfolders created by our provider will not benefit from the flow.

Does anyone know a way we could either inherits flows from a parent folder or to copy the flow applied to a folder to its subfolder ?

Thanks by advance.

Re: Onedrive Business to Sharepoint : Copy File from subfolders when created

Hi @Romain_Ruel,

The "When a file is created" action of Onedrive for business connector would not check the file created in the subfolders indefault.

Please refer to steps below to set the "When a file is created" action of Onedrive for business connector tocheck the file created in the subfolders.

1.Please choose the second "When a file is created" action of Onedrive for business connector as below:

2.Please set the "Include subfolders" field in the action to Yes.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Onedrive Business to Sharepoint : Copy File from subfolders when created

Thank you Alice,

I contacted Microsoft for the support and they gave me the same solution. Issue being that this feature is not released yet, what ever the plan you are currently running, but this should be on the November or December release.

Thank you though for your time.
