Outlook Attachment to Planner - Why is it asking for a http link?

Greetings - I've created a flow that:
1) on incoming emails

 - marked low importance
- with a text marker in subject
- sent to a specific folder

2) Creates a Planner task
- with the name of sender and subject as the task name
- text body of the email in the "description" field
- With the email attachment (Remember this one...)

3) Responds to the sender with
- task card name
- a canned message

Now it's the email attachment that is the sticky wicket - It's forcing me to use something in the "Reference Resource Link" area and it makes my attachment a link instead of just the attachment.

Task ID - Planner ID
Description - The plain text (HTML to text)
------
Reference Alias - 1 - Planner ID
Reference Resource link - : [
{
"alias": @{body('Create_a_task')?['id']},
"resourceLink": "INSERT WEB ADDRESS HERE",
"type": "Word"
}
]

Is there a way to NOT have to do that and just put the *($&% attachment in the planner task?

Re: Outlook Attachment to Planner - Why is it asking for a http link?

Hi @mattshursen,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

I afraid that there is no any way to achieve your needs to create a planner task with the email attachment.

Best regrads,

Alice

Re: Outlook Attachment to Planner - Why is it asking for a http link?

flow issue.jpg

As per the diagram above, my issue is based off the template flow HERE.  The "Update Task Details" portion is where I'm having the issue - I can get the attachment to show as a word doc (based on the type) but that will only bring you to the link above in "Refernece Alias 1"

Here's the odd thing - in the dynamic content I can select "Attachment" for the link sometimes - but that still doesn't work.

Is there any way that planner can be updated with attachments with a flow?  I'm not talking just my case above, but overall.

Thanks @v-yuazh-msft
