Outlook Calendar Delegation - Access Denied

Hi Community,

my Flow doesn't run properly, because i receive a 403 Access denied for the Action "Get my profile V2".

Situation:

A users manager wants to receive an email / notification, only when her assistant or another person creates an entry in her outlook calendar (shared by her). However, due to the above-mentioned error I can't proceed setting up the workflow, because getting the user profile of the other person doesn't work.

Flow:

Re: Outlook Calendar Delegation - Access Denied

YOu want to use the get user profile V2 instead of the get my profile V2. Get my profile only works for retrieving your own profile.  That's why you are getting the unauthorzed error.

Re: Outlook Calendar Delegation - Access Denied

Thanks for your reply, however I have to select a specific UPN (User principal name). But I want to check my flow dynamically who created the event in the managers calendar and trigger "When a new event is created" seems to not pass these parameters.

Is there any other option how this problem could be solved?

Re: Outlook Calendar Delegation - Access Denied

Check the modified property of the new item, that will have the email address (UPN) of the person who created the item.  The problem with Get My Profile is that it always tries to get the profile of the user running the flow.  That's not the one you want.
