Outlook to Calendar PTO Flow

Hi! I'm looking to create a flow that would pull PTO data from the sample email below and create an event on a shared calendar with the requested dates - this is my first flow for our office and I haven't done any basic coding in a few years so any and all help would be appreciated!

Ideally, an all day event would be created with the subject of: [Staff Member] PTO.

Subject: Time Off Request has been Approved

Time Off Request for the following date has been Approved

Status Changed By : [Supervisor's Name]

Requested Dates: 04/26/2019 to 04/26/2019

Duration: 7.00 hours/day

Request Type: Vacation

Re: Outlook to Calendar PTO Flow

Hi @mgadsden , thank you for your post.

Here is a thread I would advise you have a read through:

The user, Stoikosr has basically the same request and whilst a few things had to be established to get there, the same principals apply and you should be able to use the information in the linked post to get you on your way.

There are probably better ways to carry out your overall process though using an "Approval" , but if you need to be targeting the body of the email then roughly, this is how you would go about it. Give it a try and any issues, post back and either I or another will look to assist.

If you have found my post helpful, please mark thumbs up.

Any other questions, just ask.

Thanks, Alan
