Planner, excel, recurrence flow

Hi!

I have spent several hours watching instruction videos, but do not manage to get things going.

I would like to implement a CMMS (maintenance management) system based on MS Planner. Problem is, it does not save history, and the most weird problem, it does not allow to create recurring tasks. So I figured out, I could solve the problems with Power Automate, creating needed flows and save data to excel (maybe even in a database one day) and add the recurrence. The tutorials are outdated mostly.

Automations to create:

1) When a new Task is created in Planner under the plan "Hooldusplaan" , add a new row into an excel file "Hooldusplaan1" located in Sharepoint

2) When a Task is completed add the date and time behind the row of the task in the same file.

3) When a Task name contains word "1m" Create a recurring task with 1 month interval. Could create 4 different periods/tasks: 1w, 1m, 6m, 12m.

What is the field "Table"?

Hello @UneMati

For excel connection to work.
You must create the table in excel. Than select that table in the Flow connector.
Example: table1

Right now you are imputing the planner details into the table field.

You need to create these columns in excel in a table first. Than come back to Power Automate and select the table name from the drop down in the table field.

Hi! Thank You for help!

I was on vacation, and then the Corona panic striked...

I now created a Table inside the spreadsheet. Filled the columns in the Power automate. Run the test, and got no errors, all should be fine. It is just creating a new task in Planner will not add a new row...

I probably have made a mistake somewhere. Or need to define the bucket somehow or....

As I see, the planner part works. I collects the created task, and shows Title: test1

For some reason the Excel part can not be opened it is like "in haze"

Thoght I try to start again. Use the same excel file, but instead of Ann new Row, I try Update a row.

I was able to get all values from drop down list, but got an error then:

But now I realized, the ID value is not what I was hoping for. But I can not pick the names.
