Planner to SharePoint flow when task complete

Hi,

I am trying to set up a flow that updates a specific SharePoint item (the planner task title matches the primary field in the SharePoint list) but can't get it to update, any suggestions:

At this point I only want to update the Notes field so have left everything else blank!

Re: Planner to SharePoint flow when task complete

Hi @cpmb82,

Could you please share more details about the IBM PgMP Ref field in your sharepoint list?

I have made a test on my side and have have created a IBM PgMP Ref field in the sharepoint list with a single line of text type, you could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Planner to SharePoint flow when task complete

@cpmb82:

Here is an example that I believe addresses your issue.  I chose to use an OData filter when retrieving the list items rather than filtering an array.

Please note that there are single quotes around the value from Planner in the OData filter.

Also, I am assuming that there is only one entry in the SharePoint list with a title that matches the Planner title.  So, there should only be one item returned for Get Items and the loop with only run once.

In addition, you need to provide values for all required columns even if you don't want to update them.  If you want the values to be unchanged, just set it to the value for that column in Dynamic Properties.

The following Flow ran successfully:

Re: Planner to SharePoint flow when task complete

Thanks Alice, that worked great!!

Is it possible to edit the format of the completedDateTime to just show dd-MM-yyyy instead of 2018-09-20T08:14:50.2606137Z??
