Populating SharePoint list date column with date from API call adding 1 hour onto time

Hello,

I'm using the ServiceNow connector to pull items from ServiceNow to a SharePoint list.

For the date fields I need the hours visible.

From the results of the ServiceNow connector call I'm initializing a string variable. I'm then setting the variable with the relevant result from the connector.

In the Create Item SharePoint connector I'm using the expression;

parseDateTime(variables('**VarName**'), 'en-gb''G')

In the run results input and output I'm getting the correct time as seen in ServiceNow, however the SharePoint list is adding an hour onto all times.

After some research it seems related to BST for my tenant level setting.

Is there actually any way round this apart from tenant level settings?

Happy to add pictures if it will help anyone.

Thanks!

I managed to work out the issue so will post just in case anyone else has the issue.

It was really simple, I just had to change the SharePoint site Regional Settings that the list was hosted on from

Time Zone;

(UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London

to

(UTC) Coordinated Universal Time

The first option was adding the extra hour to account for British Summer Time.
