Hi all,
I've created a flow that takes data from the Form that's been submitted and posts a message into Microsoft Teams about it, which is great but I really want to make the flow post into teams as if it was the user. As it currently stands, I've got hundreds of messages in the channel but I really want to make this seem as if the form responder has posted into the channel. Is there a way to do this?
Second question, is there a way to @ the channel from the message constructed in Flow? Would be good to automatically notify everyone when a new form response is submitted, but maybe this isn't best practice. However I would really love to be able to get Flow to create the message as if it was the form responder though.
Please help!
Hi @Mikehailu ,
What do you mean when someone submits a form and sends a message in Teams, but is the responder sending the message?
I am afraid this is difficult to achieve, because the connection in Flow is created based on the personal account, so the person who sent the message is the account used by the current action configuration connection, which cannot be changed during the execution of Flow.
Best Regards,
Hi, yes I mean that I want the Flow to post a message in teams as if it was posted by the form responder - but from what you say, that doesn't seem possible.
@v-bacao-msft thanks for the reply, what about tagging the channel? is that possible?
Can you tag the person who submitted the form?
