Post from Salesforce Chatter to yammer - with posters username instead of the flow publisher

Hi

I have a yammer automation where if someone posts a message to a chatter group it will post to a yammer group. The only issue is that it says that the power automate publisher is the one that made the post instead of the person that posted it to Chatter. I try to add a step in between with get user profile but there is no salesforce dynamic content that will yield the authors email address so I cant get the user profile to show up as the author. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Post from Salesforce Chatter to yammer - with posters username instead of the flow publisher

Hi @CharlesGIl ,

Could you share screenshots of Flow configuration?

In the above step of the Get user profile action, is there any data output from the body of actions that can be used to obtain data for the specified user info?

Please provide more details so that we could provide a proper workaround for you.

In addition, if you can get the user's display name or given name, you can try to use the Search for users action to get the user info.
