Power Automate - Best practice for the user creating/owns the "Flow"

Hi Community.

What is better to use:

--A generic user  Example:  uadministrator@domain.com

or

--an Employee´s user, Example:  roxicevallos@domain.com

for creating a "Flow", this in regarding to the following Note in the PA documentation:

  • Owners can use services in a flow, but they can't change the credentials for a connection that another owner created.

@roxana_cq - It depends on the flow purpose. For Application development purpose, using Service\generic account for connections is a better choice. For all other collaboration flows purpose, individual account is fine, but make sure to always add Co-owner. also when using individual account, you must remember to fix the flow when you change the password.

I would like to add that you can create power automates (cloud flows) from Dataverse solutions as well. This will help moving them between envirionments. If you create a flow from a solution, you don't see it anymore in the 'my flows' nor in the 'shared with me'. Always open this from within the solution.

One nice benifit about this is that everyone with customisation securityrole can edit this cloud flow. They do not have to be owner/creator of the flow.
