Hi
I have just set up an on-premise gateway, and I am trying to dynamically create a file in a folder on my local file system:
The file is a simple XML file, that I want Power Automate to create:
It gives me this error:
"status": 404,
"message": "There is no file with name 'testerupload.xml' located in '[...]In\\LightWebShipment' on your file system. Verify the file exists or create it before trying to access it.\r\nclientRequestId: c41c2480-e9a7-4337-a6ad-84f18147372b",
I don't understand the error. I am trying to create a file, therefore it cannot exist beforehand. And I am not trying to access it, but merely create it.
Hi @Anonymous
Yes that error is misleading and not the appropriate error we are expecting. I did setup a new on-prem connection and created the file successfully. Please check your credentials are correct or not. You could test this by adding Get File using path action so that you can manually select the files from the folder. This way you can make sure that on-prem connection is working correctly.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks

Learn more from my blogHi @Anonymous,
I have tested on my side but not find the same issue:
Please check the validation of connection and gateway, and you can also close the Flow and then reopen it, or check the destination folder whether exist a file with the same name.
