Problem connecting pieces

Dear all,

I am new to Microsoft Flow and Power Automate and I am trying to do something that seems simple:

  • Creating a workflow when someone fills in a form  ---  I have done it using Flow, and a trigger with a Microsoft Form component )
  • Add an approval step by a Manager ---  done using the approval flow element )
  • The manager assign an team member to work on a task ---  not done, that's the place where I am stuck. I have tried with PowerAutomate, but I don't know how to connect it with the flow created ...
  • The team member perform the work and click somewhere for the flow to go to next step --- I don't know how I can assign a workflow step to someone ...
  • A reviewer review the work done and clic on next step.
  • the requester is informed that the work was performed.

Would someone have an idea on how to solve that problem ? I have spent hours trying to look on how to do it, and I am really stuck ...

thanks for your help

@bbado

Can you tell me where your data is stored?  SharePoint? This is important to know so that responses can be appropriate for your situation.

What are you using to track tasks?

Hi
"The manager assign an team member to work on a task"
This step shall be completed only if manager approves, right?
Hope this helps

Proud to be a Flownaut!

Today, the data is only stored on Microsoft Form.

I don't know what would be the best principle to follow. If needed I can look on how to send the data to Sharepoint.
