Hi all - Im currently trying to make a workflow to automate emailing my companies hardware resource when we run low on products.
I have built a pretty rudimentary workflow consisting of conditions equalling the name of each product and its current count versus the minimum required count, this checks and if yes emails a custom email to my provider for that part, if no, it goes to the next condition and keeps checking for every item low on numbers.
However as you can imagine with an inventory of over 20 items i hit the nest limit of 9 and im now stuck in a pickle.
Is there an easier way to create If/or statements in automate?
I can attach an imported version if required.
Cheers again, heres a photo for reference.
Hey,
You could either put the Condition actions right below each other instead of inside the If no Section...
Or maybe even only have 1 email with Dynamic content? Or are the emails so different depending on the hardware item or is it just the name of the item that changes?
Couldn't you just make one item with the body like "Hardware item [Dynamic conten tItemName] is running low." For Example:
Why do you use multiple conditions?
cheers
Hey there mate,
thanks for the reply.
Im still having issues trying to get the email to adapt to the specific item that has run low according to the spreadsheet. The multiple conditions was to run a if/or check on every individual line.
Is there an easier way to do this as im unfamiliar with the "dynamic attribute" you mentioned.
Cheers,
