I have a Sharepoint folder with 4,000 .MSG emails. It has a column named DateTimeReceived. I would like to read all .MSG files in the sharepoint folder, get the date/time that the email was received, and update/insert into the column DateTimeReceived. Is there a Flow action for reading .MSG files to do this?
I would also like to convert the .MSG file (including attachments to the email enclosed with the .MSG file) into a PDF without headers, then insert my own custom text/header at the top of the PDF file - with most of the information that would normally be found in the header but the date time in particular replaced to show it in local time rather than UTC. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you 🙂
Hi @nana001, you cannot - there are no ways to read .msg files in PowerAutomate.
I'm afraid you have to use an Outlook add-in or VBA script to do what you want or even create your own software tool.
