Read column text - sharepoint

Hi,

In sharepoint I have a list of scientific articles and a column where I manually write the name of the authors, separated by ";".

In the automatic flow that I want to create I need to count the number of authors for a selected document.

How can I do this?

Please let me know.

Hi @Quinzio ,

If the name of the author separated by ";" and the end of the column is ";", please refer to the following method to achieve your requirement:

If the end of the column does contain ";", please refer to the following method:

Please take a try and feel free to let us know if you have other questions.

Re: Read column text - sharepoint

Hello @Quinzio

You could use the following expression: length(split(your_data,";")) where your_data is the column field where the authors are stored.

Hope it helps!
