Reassign Flow

Hello all,

I'm working on developing multi-level approval workflow.

My question here is: When Approver-1 reassign the task for CreatedBy to make a changes to the SharePoint list item, Power Automate by default notify CreatedBy. Once CreatedBy make changes and approves, it needs to be routed to Approver-1 again to review the changes & approve, before leaving to Approver-2.

As of now, When CreatedBy approves, flow is directly sending the notification to Approver-2 for review.

Is there a way to accomplish the above?

Thanks!

The way this is normally handled is through the use of what are known as State-Machine workflows.  State machine workflows choose the next stage in a workflow based on the state of the item being approved instead of following a static path.  That allows for decision points like the ones required in your definition.  Here's a blog article on State Machine workflows in Power Automate.
