Recognize a Value After Starting the Approval

Hi,

I want to know that how to recognize a column value after starting the Approval?

Scenario i more detail below.

1. Status Value = 'Pending'

2. Approval is Started only if the condition is = 'Pending'

3. Status value is Changed to 'Review' directly to the source.

4. Since the Approval action is started, how to tell flow that the value is changed to 'Review' and the flow should be terminated?

Help would be appreciated.

Regards,

There is no easy way to accomplish what you want to do.  Once an Approval is started using Start and Wait for an Approval it will remain in effect until it is completed.  However, if you use Create an Approval to create the Approval you can create two parallel branches after that.  One to Wait for the Approval to Complete and one to Loop on a delay and check to see if the status of the item changes.  If the status changes you can use CDS to cancel the Approval and terminate the flow.  Please note that the CDS connector required to Cancel the existing Approval is a premium function and cancelling the approval will not delete the Approval Email, just the Approval itself.
