Regarding link in Start and Wait for an Approval

Hi
We have used a "Start and Wait for Approval" template in a Power Automate to create an approval process. For some of our users, the email to them from this action has two sections with Approved or Rejected buttons. As shown in image here, in single email there is this top half that shows the buttons and a bottom half shown under Show Original message section that has another set of buttons. The user complain that link to item in top part (shown by default)doesn't work (nothing happens when clicked) whereas the link in bottom section (which has to be opened by clicking Show Original message) works fine. When i checked the same Power Automate, i am getting the email with just one section and link to item works out fine. Has anyone faced this behavior and if yes, please let us know the fix.

Hi @gayathri ,

I have made a test on my side and I can only see the top apart. Everything is normal when I click on the link.

I guess whether the client used by the client is not the same as the one you are using, so there are different results.

Please try to check the online doc and get more details about formatting approval requests:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/approvals-markdown-support

In addition, if you are using the Flow template to create a Flow, you can try to create a new Flow from the blank to do a similar test, and use the syntax mentioned in the Doc to add a link.
