Removed user accounts and flows

Hello, We have a few questions about Flow creators and removing user accounts.

We have a Team flow created by user xyz. The flow has also been assigned many owners.

  1. If users xyz account is removed, will the flow stop working? If so, would this flow failure be alerted?
  2. Can a flow creator be transfered/modified to a shared administration account that is not directly associated to a user account?

Thanks Angela Hay

Re: Removed user accounts and flows

Hi @AHay,

For your first question, if users xyz account is removed, the flow wouldn't stop working, it would continue to work.

For your second question, there is no documentation tell about this and I couldn't make a test on it, so I couldn't answer you for the question. And you could make a test on it if there are conditions.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Removed user accounts and flows

Hi Alice, Thankyou for your response.

We find it odd that if a user account is removed then a flow would still run. Surely this would result in many redundant flows when users account are disabled?

We have tried to confirm our second question regarding changing the creator however as there is no documentation we have not been able to verify this.

Regards Angela
