Rename file in FTP after flow is completed

What steps are needed to rename a file in an FTP, after the flow has moved the file to OneDrive for Business?

Step1 - When a file is created or modified in FTP

Step2 - Create file in Onedrive

Step3- rename the original file in the FTP as "completed_FILENAME"

(and/or)

Step4- move that file to subfolder "archive"

So far I have Step1&2 working.

Would Step3 be best done in parralell with Step2 that creates the file to OneDrive?

How do I build Step3 &4?

Re: Rename file in FTP after flow is completed

Hi FLowsRg8t,

If possible, instead of using step3, please try to add a Condition before step4, and configure the Condition as File Name contains “Completed”. (If all your modified files include “completed” in the file name).

Then after the condition, in the IF YES branch, add an action to remove the file to a subfolder.

Please try it on your side and let me know if it works for you.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao
