SMTP connector having problems connecting to AWS Workmail

I'm having issues creating a connection to my Amazon Workmail using the SMTP Connector.  Is there a way to change the SMTP port from 465 to 587 in the Amazon account?  Or is there a way to force the connector to use 465?

I know that the SMTP configuration works for port 465 using my Outlook.com account (connected via SMTP to the Amazon Workmail), but the FLOW does not seem to support it.  So, I need help here.

Re: SMTP connector having problems connecting to AWS Workmail

Hi @marcbernard,

Have you enabled the SSL in the connection? If you want to use port 587, please try to enable the SSL when creating the connection.

Please check this doc and try it on your side:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/smtp/

Best regards,

Re: SMTP connector having problems connecting to AWS Workmail

Hi - I was able to create the connection.  Turns out I needed to create a separate AWS Username / Password (different than the AWS Workmail).  The connection parameter was the workmail email address that I was trying to connect to.

I have another issue now -- The attachment Array that I typically used for the other connectors is not working for this one.

Any idea or guidance how to setup the JSON for this connector?

The Array I was using was part of an Apply to Each, and the following was appended to my AttachmentArray:

{

   "Name":  DisplayName,

   "ContentBytes": $content

}

Any idea how to map the attachment information to the SMTP Connector, which has the following Attachment parameters:

1) Content data

2) Content type

3) File name

4) Content id

thanks for your help.

-Marc
