Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I tried searching for previous posts covering the issue but could not find what I was looking for. I'm very new to Power Automate so hoping you guys can help me out!
I have a situation where a data sheet is being maintained on a portable device which is out of wifi service for most of the day. At the moment it is being saved every evening manually on the device using the Save As option to rename the saved file for the days date so we have daily snapshots of the data as a backup. Is it possible to create a scheduled flow to run (say every evening at 7pm) to automatically save a copy of the sheet onto the device as the days date. Essentially automate the creation of a daily backup file.
If this is possible, as an extension it would also be fantastic to have it move the file over to say a Dropbox server or onto Onedrive!
We are using Office365 as our main environment, but also maintain a Dropbox server as our main shared data dump.
Apologies again if this subject has already been covered in a similar thread!
